Slim or Plus, which one suits me?
From the front both are 100 × 59 mm. The Slim holds 8 cards and 10–15 notes and is about 12 mm thick when filled, the Plus holds 12 cards and is about 17 mm thick. Notes lie flat in both. Slim €39, Plus €49.
Does it fit in a front pocket?
Yes. It is barely bigger than a bank card. The Slim is made for exactly that.
What is the pocket for?
For coins. The pocket sits at the front by the clasp and takes the space of 4 cards. It also fits a KNIFF you already own: €9.90 with a wallet, €12 on its own.
Which colour should I choose?
Walnut is made from hemp, a little sturdier, firm and matte. Night, Mocha and Cognac are SnapPap, thinner, smooth and soft like leather. Engravings show most clearly on Cognac. Every thread goes with every colour at no extra cost.
Is KNIFF really vegan?
Yes, no animal leather. LOVR is made from hemp fibres from agricultural residues, without any plastic. SnapPap is made in Germany, contains no PVC, is tear-resistant and washable up to 60 °C.
What can I have engraved?
A text inside, which you see when you open it, or on the back, €9 each and up to 30 characters. Or a photo as a fine line drawing on the back for €19: people, pets, a landscape, a building, a vehicle or a logo. You enter the text when you order.
How does the photo engraving work?
Order with photo engraving and upload your photo at kniff.art/foto or send it by email. We turn it into a line drawing (a logo we keep as true to the original as possible) and send you a link: you approve it or ask for a change. Only then do we laser it onto the back.
How long does delivery take?
Within Germany 3–5 working days, elsewhere in the EU up to 10 working days. Shipping is included and you get the tracking number by email. With photo engraving, the time counts from your approval of the drawing.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. Tick “gift” when you order and there is no invoice in the parcel. With an engraving it becomes one of a kind.
How do I pay?
On the secure SumUp payment page, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You get a confirmation by email. Voucher codes go into the cart.
Can I return it?
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery; you pay for the return shipping. Details are in our cancellation policy (in German).
What if a seam comes loose?
The saddle stitch is sewn with two needles and holds even if a single thread breaks. If a seam still comes loose, send us your KNIFF: we sew it again for free, including return postage, for as long as KNIFF exists.
How does it close?
With a brass magnetic clasp inside the flap. Close the flap, you hear it, it holds.
